June 3rd: Join Super Bowl Champion Vernon Davis At The 13th Annual “Art & Soul” Charity Auction To Benefit The National Center for Children & Families (NCFF)

On Friday, June 3rd, The National Center for Children and Families (NCCF) will host its 13th Annual “Art & Soul” Charity Auction, a wonderful evening featuring cocktails, fine food, entertainment, and live & silent auctions of local master artists to benefit its invaluable art programs that enrich the lives of  underprivileged youth in Washington, D.C.

This year, fine artist, Super Bowl Champion and recently signed Redskin Vernon Davis is partnering with us for NCCF’s 13th Annual Art & Soul Charity Auction: “Life as Art”. As an avid artist, philanthropist, and athlete, Vernon founded The Vernon Davis Foundation for the Arts (VDFA), which envisions communities where the arts are recognized as vital to social development and a positive alternative for youth dealing with stress and peer pressure. In working towards this shared vision, NCCF and VDFA partnered to elevate our most vulnerable youth in a new collaboration with The Duke Ellington School for the Arts through a peer-to-peer arts and performance mentorship.image

The National Center for Children and Families (NCCF), proudly embraces the philosophy that “beauty heals,” and when children and families participate in our programs, they believe that they are valuable and beautiful. For over a decade, the Art & Soul Charity Auction has celebrated master artists and performers who care deeply about our community and support children and youth in need.
