April 26th, 2016: Ted Leonsis Hosts 8th Annual DC Capital Stars At The Kennedy Center

On Tuesday, April 26th, Ted Leonsis invites you to The 8th Annual DC Capital Stars: “The Sounds Of Movie Music” at The Kennedy Center to benefit his charity, District of Columbia College Access Program (DC-CAP). An evening of inspiration, the 8th Annual DC-CAPITAL STARS: The Sound of Movie Music will roll out the red carpet to showcase the outstanding artistic abilities of college-bound students from DC public and public charter schools. Attracting over 1,000 guests and a panel of award-winning celebrity judges, the “American Idol”-style show where audience members get to help pick the winners will culminate with scholarships being awarded to the top performers. A celebratory reception with live music and dancing follows the performance. Proceeds benefit the DC College Access Program, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping DC public and public charter school high school students prepare for, enroll in and graduate from college. To learn more about DC-CAP, visit www.dccap.org
