Ted Leonsis Cordially Invites You To The Michael Wilbon and James Brown Celebrity Roast, honoring Coach Gary Williams

ABOUT THE EVENT

On Tuesday, September 22, 2015 leading sports, entertainment, civic, and media celebrities will gather to honor and roast basketball coaching legend Gary Williams of the University of Maryland. The celebrity roast is hosted by Michael Wilbon and James Brown. Celebrity roasters will share their experiences and humorous stories about Coach William’s career on and off the court.

Comcast SportsNet media celebrity Chick Hernandez will emcee, and a wide array of sports icons are scheduled to attend. Past celebrities include Wes Unseld, Joe Gibbs, Earl “the Pearl” Monroe, Magic Johnson, Joe Theismann, Alonzo Mourning, Cal Ripken, Kellen Williams, Dexter Manley, Doug Williams, Sterling Sharpe, Penny Hardaway, and the late Stuart Scott.

Prior to the roast a cocktail reception and silent auction will be held with priceless celebrity memorabilia, sporting event tickets, travel opportunities, and more.
