On May 27, the National Building Museum will present the 2015 Honor Award to Judith Rodin and The Rockefeller Foundation, STUDIOS Architecture, and Capital Bikeshare to celebrate their commitment to the ongoing vitality and adaptation of our cities. The Museum has selected the theme of Game Changers, recognizing the profound contributions by our honorees and their work in inspiring the public to rethink what it means to be a part of an enduring and vital cityscape.
The National Building Museum Honor Award is given annually to leaders who have shaped our heritage, defined our culture, developed our communities, and crafted our built environment. Individually, they have advanced our building arts and sciences. Collectively, their legacy is profound. We hope you will join us as we celebrate the incredible accomplishments of The Rockefeller Foundation, STUDIOS Architecture, and Capital Bikeshare.

The Gala is one of the highlights of the National Building Museum’s calendar, bringing together business, political, and cultural leaders from across the country and raising critical support for the Museum’s acclaimed exhibitions, youth education initiatives, public programs, and family festivals.

This year’s Gala will be emceed by special guest host, Paula Poundstone, comedian from NPR’s “Wait, Wait…Don’t Tell Me” and will end with an after party complete with live music by the band theVIPs, open bar and dancing into the night.
