During his visit to Washington, D.C., I escorted Prince Harry on a walking tour of Arlington to see the sites. From the start, he talked alot about his desire to become a champion for wounded warriors.
You can learn a lot about what’s actually important to someone by where they give their time, and where they don’t. And so it was with His Royal Highness. His focus was set on our military and veterans. He did not give his time to social obligations or political meetings, prioritizing our troops over everything. Captain Windsor spent his first day at Walter Reed with wounded active-duty heroes, the next day paying his respects at Arlington National Cemetery, and his final day in DC playing in the Wounded Warrior Games.
District of Style would like to recognize the Prince as an icon of timeless style. Harry has a passion for philanthropy, a kind nature, and a brave heart. Wanting to become a Champion for causes that mean the world to him, like wounded warriors, is part of who he is. The desire to make a difference is not a trend, it’s character. That’s why Harry’s style is timeless.
